Huawei B715s-23c LTE CPE Review

Since Huawei launched the B715s-23c router in Europe, some internet providers in Europe like Poland and Latvia have introduced this router to their customers. It is the first LTE CAT9 CPE wireless gateway from Huawei with up to 450 Mbit / s in the downlink. It provides four RJ45 Gigabit LAN ports and a USB port, as well as an integrated phone function with RJ11 connector. Thus, it would be a direct successor to the popular router Huawei B525 router.

Huawei B715 Design
The Huawei B715 looks like a classic wireless gateway, there is no particular design or visual highlights. On the front side of the router, there are five LED indicators including power, network status, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAL, signal operation status indicators. On the back side of the router you will find a few ports (Power, LAN/WAN, USB, RJ11 ports).
But are there any difference with the B715 compared to other Huawei LTE router models like B525 or E5186 Huawei? The most distinct difference are the connection speed. The Huawei B715 LTE router can with reach up to 450 Mbit / s to use considerably higher speeds than the B525 and E5186. And it is in smaller size than the B525 and E5186 with the size of 155mm × 47mm × 240mm. It is overall as the top model among all the Huawei LTE CPEs right now.

Huawei B715s-23a Speed
As mentioned above, B715 is the LTE CAT9 router which offers an LTE Cat9 modem for up to 450 Mbit / s in the downlink. This is a remarkable improve above Huawei E5186 and B525s router. It is also supported 2*2 LTE MIMO technology. It also supports 4*4 MIMO antenna technology which is supported adjacent to 4 × also 2CC CA (ie, two times the channel bundling). In addition to support FDD LTE and TDD LTE at the same time, it could be used universally. Here are the maximum speed under different networks:
— LTE FDD: 4*4MIMO+2CA 582Mbps
— LTE TDD: 4*4MIMO+2CA 426Mbps
— DC-HSPA+: DL 42 Mbit/s, UL 5.76 Mbit/s
— HSPA+: DL 21 Mbit/s (64QAM) / 28 Mbit/s (MIMO), UL 5.76 Mbit/s
— HSPA: DL 14.4 Mbit/s, UL 5.76 Mbit/s
